What you need to know

Assessment session
Your 1-hour introductory appointment
  • Payment is required in advance of the appointment.
  • Your video link will be sent via email before the session.
  • 48-hour notice is required for cancellations.
  • No refunds for missed assessment appointments.
  • Your assessment is treated as strictly confidential.
Counselling sessions
Ongoing 50-minute weekly sessions
  • Sessions are 50 minutes, conducted online, scheduled weekly.
  • Your video link is sent prior to each session.
  • 48-hour notice required for cancellations — the full fee applies for late cancellations or no-shows.
  • If you arrive late, the session continues for the remaining time at the full fee.
  • Payment for sessions is made a month in advance via bank transfer.
  • We reserve the right to end therapy at any point.

There is no waiting list at Talking Counselling. You can begin therapy straight after your assessment — sessions are typically available within a week. Monday to Saturday, 8am to 9pm.
Talking Counselling does not diagnose ADHD. However, therapy can significantly help with ADHD-related challenges — improving self-awareness, emotional regulation, focus, and confidence. If you need a formal diagnosis, we recommend speaking with your GP who can refer you to a specialist.
