Talking Counselling is a private counselling-psychotherapy service rooted discreetly in the financial district of the City, on the fringe of Shoreditch and a one minute walk from Liverpool Street station.  We work with individuals and couples to promote positive mental health, providing a safe environment for you to look after your emotional health.  Talking Counselling also works in partnership with companies to promote easy access to talking therapy to support the hard-working businesses and local  residents in London.

We have an approachable, modern, and relevant style of working that applies to everyday life struggles from the past or present, tailored to suit individual clients’ needs.  Our clients’ privacy, confidentiality and well-being is paramount at Talking Counselling.

How Anh work: 

Anh Doan is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.  She brings openness and commitment to her practice, working with trauma Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Psycho-dynamics, with the new wave of psychological intervention Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness.  Anh integrates deep relaxation hypnosis for you to manage your anxiety and can support you with a broad range of emotional issues from trauma issues to relationship difficulties, helping you to explore your feelings at a pace that works for you.  Anh will be by your side, ensuring you have a safe space to talk and share your inner thoughts and fears.

Anh’s experience:

Anh has extensive experience providing short-term therapy (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy or CBT) both privately and in a GP practice supporting a female therapy workshop, and achieving good outcomes.  With Mind (the mental health charity) she has worked with individuals and couples, and has run group workshops for stress management in the workplace.  She finds using Hypnotherapy-Stress Reduction and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) can help to build mental resilience.  She works hard to promote Men’s mental health breaking down stigma about mental health itself.
